City of Varanasi

Varanasi is one of the oldest cities of the world and still it is
vibrant. It is also known as cultural capital of India. Some people call it the capital of knowledge.

The Ghats on the bank of Ganga are magnificent. It is enjoying and
interesting to walk along the river through different Ghats. Ganga Aarti along the Ghats is very fascinating. So is the program Subahe Banaras which consists of Aarti, dance and yoga at Assi ghat.
Varanasi is also known as the city of temples. The most famous temple is the Kashi Vishwanath temple. Its beauty is worth exploring apart from worshiping of Lord Shiva.
The kings of this area never had their capital in Varanasi because it is believed that the city stands on the trident of Shiva and it is open to all nationality. Because of this you will find palaces of all ancient kings of the world in Varanasi. Also, the capital of the King of Banaras was across the river known as Ram Nagar. The fort of Ram Nagar is also worth of exploring. 

The splendid expansion and beauty of Banaras Hindu University in
magnificent. It has the biggest campus of a university in the world. Fort of Chunar is another attraction of Varanasi 

Sarnath is the place where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon to five
descales. Our national emblem was taken from Sarnath which was on part of the Ashoka pillar. Nearby falls of Rajdari and Deodari give natural beauty
